The conference will be held online in our Remo Conference Area. The conference area is designed like the location we planned for the reception – the Zollverein UNESCO World Heritage Site. Remo is a simple to use tool that enables interactive conferences. Just click on a table to join the discussion of your peers. We hope that this interactivity will help us to create a more social conference feeling many of us are missing lately.
If you join the event, the registration desk at the entrance will support you in case you have any technical difficulties or requests. The paper presentations will be at the main stage that can be seen from the whole conference venue. No matter what table, demo, or poster you will be able to see and hear the technical presentations. The venue also features a poster and demo area in which the presenters will be able to present their research to the audience. Each of the posters and demos will have a separate video chat and posterboard which authors can use to present and discuss their work with you. Please step by the different posters and demos and engage with them! After the conference and in the breaks, participants can network at the tables and enjoy virtual drinks at the bar.
We invite you cordially to join our Remo Test Sessions if you want to get used to the Remo Conference tool. The sessions will take place on the 19th and 20th of November 9:00-10:00 (CET) and 15:00-16:00 (CET) each.
